Aspire People are currently recruiting for passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in a variety of schools across the region, supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Role Details:
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Type: Supply (Day-to-day & Long-term cover)
Location: Various schools across the region
Contract: Temporary with some potential to transition into permanent positions
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with Special Educational Needs
Assist with classroom activities and help deliver tailored learning plans
Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure a positive learning environment
What We Are Looking For:
Previous experience working with children, ideally within an SEN setting
A passion for working with students who have additional needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
A patient and compassionate approach to supporting students
