Recruiting Self employed Mortgage Brokers to join my client, a whole of market FS company.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial services, enabling them to guide clients through the mortgage application process efficiently.

As a Mortgage Broker, you will be responsible for assessing clients' financial situations, providing tailored mortgage solutions, and liaising with lenders to secure the best possible terms for your clients. You will also offer a full suite of protection policies from a range of lenders, supported by an office team of administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients' financial situations and needs to recommend suitable mortgage products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with lenders to stay informed about available mortgage options.
  • Prepare and submit mortgage applications on behalf of clients, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Provide expert advice on mortgage terms, interest rates, and repayment options.
  • Keep clients informed throughout the mortgage process, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
  • Conduct market research to identify competitive mortgage products and trends in the industry.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards throughout the mortgage process.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

CeMap Qualified

  • Proven experience in financial services or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of basic mathematics to perform calculations related to mortgages and interest rates.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple client cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and establish trust in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
