DK Recruitment are working with a well-established regional business that operates nationally and internationally, and they're currently looking to add a Finance Assistant to their growing accounts team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their finance experience within a supportive and collaborative environment, with regular engagement from senior management.

The Role:

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls. The role offers great variety and will suit someone who enjoys a mix of transactional work, stakeholder interaction, and assisting with audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
Depending on your area of focus, responsibilities may include:

Daily banking functions and reconciliations
Processing payments and cheques
Billing
Handling internal ledger queries
Supporting with audit preparation
Supporting the monthly management accounts process
Petty cash and credit card reconciliations
Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis

What We’re Looking For:

AAT Level 3/4, part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
Experience in a busy finance or accounts team
Strong Excel skills
Good attention to detail and analytical ability
Excellent communication and a collaborative approach
Experience with finance systems (Leap experience beneficial but not essential)
