Job Description: Pipefitter

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Pipefitter with experience in mechanical systems, groundworks, and plant operation. The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible, and capable of working independently or as part of a team on infrastructure and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain mechanical equipment and tools
- Assist with groundworks and civil engineering tasks
- Conduct inspections, basic repairs, and routine maintenance
- Support site supervisors and project managers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
- CSCS
- Experience with plant machinery (e.g., 360 excavator, telehandler)
- Confined Space certification and experience
- Thames Water passport
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable:
- First Aid certification
- Utility mapping experience
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
