Your new roleThe Senior Accountant will be overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, preparing and reviewing the statutory accounts and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic planning.
  • Assist the year-end, quarterly period and month-end accounts
  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with local GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified Accountant with 4 years experience
  • If non qualified, then 5+ year's experience in an Accountancy role is required.
  • Need excellent analytic skills
  • Have the ability to work independently
  • Experience with corporate tax
