Administrative Assistant - 12 Month initial contract - Based in Kingston upon thames

Our Client has a requirement for an Administrative Assistant, who will be required to work on a Contract basis in Kingston upon thames.

Purpose of the position: As Administrative Assistant you will be part of the HR Team. You will manage and support data entry activities for payroll purpose.

Activities:

  • Data entry for starters, leavers, pay rate changes on a monthly basis answering queries
  • Processing of expense claims
  • Support the Senior Payroll Officer with the Aberdeen Offshore Payroll by processing vessel timesheets into the HR system within deadlines.
  • Monitoring timesheets submissions and reconciling the number of timesheets received against the number of people on the Vessel Personnel on Board reports
  • Ensuring timesheets accuracy by sample checks of the number of days onboard as per the Vessel Personnel on Board reports and the number of days on the timesheets.
  • Assist with updating the Time & Attendance system.
  • Assist with general Payroll Section duties on an adhoc basis , assist with the collation of data for internal and external reporting etc.

  • Experience/background: A first experience with data entry or administratives activities.
  • IT skills: MS Office
