Our client are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead their UK Public Sector department. You will be responsible for setting and executing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and developing a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market sales strategies
- Drive business growth and exceed revenue targets
- Build strong relationships with public sector customers and stakeholders
- Oversee bid management and tender processes
- Deliver high-quality sales proposals and presentations
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reporting
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and executive teams
- Lead, coach, and develop the UK public sector sales team
Key attributes
- Minimum 3 years in a senior sales role, ideally in public sector or technology
- Proven success in selling complex products and consistently hitting target
- Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with solid forecasting and reporting capabilities
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, customer-focused approach
- Desirable: Salesforce and project management experience
