Civil/Structural Technician (Ports/Harbours)

Privately owned and family run practice of specialist consulting engineers require an experienced Civil/Structural Technician to join their team. An hourly contract worker could also be considered for this role.


They provide services worldwide for ports and harbour engineering and container terminals across the globe. Experience of working on similar projects would be desirable. They are a dynamic and successful team. The firm has an excellent reputation in its specialist field and has been running for many years. You must be proficient with both Revit and Autocad.


You should be a confident team player with experience in areas such as reinforced concrete, steel piles and structures, bridges, wharf structures, jetties, container terminals, quay structures, heavy duty pavements and marine design (e.g breakwaters etc.) .


The position is full time at the Kingston office with the possibility of occasional short international trips, and includes medical insurance, 25 days holiday and pension in addition to basic salary.


The role will include producing high quality drawings in Autocad and Revit for ports, harbours, electrical, cold storage and mining infrastructure projects.
