Commercial Manager National Contract - £75,000 + £7500 Travel Allowance


Joselyn Search is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to work directly for an FM Service Provider based across a portfolio covering 25+ sites spanning parts of Southern & Northern England.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on role in shaping commercial strategies and supporting the transition to a more commercially aligned way of working across the company. The Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years experience in delivering Hard FM Services across a multi-site portfolio and have a good understanding of PFI frameworks.

In return the company is offering a competitive salary of £75,000 + £7500 Travel allowance, a performance related bonus and package.


The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties.

  • Oversee all contractual and commercial delivery aspects, ensuring compliance with PFI agreements and statutory obligations.
  • Act as the primary interface with construction companies, CHP, and other key stakeholders to address and resolve commercial challenges, including latent defects and unavailability claims.
  • Collaborate with the National Operations Manager and Remobilisation Manager to drive the companys transition towards a commercially focused approach.
  • Lead governance initiatives across compliance and supply chain teams to ensure robust processes are in place to protect the business.
  • Monitor and address Service Failure Point (SFP) breaches and unavailability risks, developing proactive measures to minimize financial and reputational exposure.
  • Conduct detailed audits of operational processes to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
  • Provide commercial input for client-facing reports, ensuring financial and contractual accuracy.
  • Analyse pay mechanism reports monthly, ensuring accurate apportionment of Service Failure Points and inclusion in PMRs.
  • Produce detailed trackers, calculators, and reports to monitor and address contractual risks and breaches effectively.

£75,000 per annum

£7500 annual Travel Allowance

Monday to Friday

8.00am 17:00pm

Requirements

Experience operating in the FM sector directly managing multi-site portfolios within a PPP/PFI environment

Degree-level education in a relevant construction or mechanical discipline

Hold or be working towards a professional membership, such as IWFM or similar
