Contract Supervisor - Grounds Maintenance
Kingston & Elmbridge Area | 33,500 per annum | Full Time - 40 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced Contract Supervisor to support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of our ground's maintenance operations across the Kingston & Elmbridge area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected team and play a key role in maintaining beautiful public spaces.
The Role:
You'll be instrumental in the smooth and efficient delivery of our ground's maintenance services by:
- Assisting the Contract Management Team with effective scheduling and delivery of work.
- Leading and motivating the Service Delivery Team.
- Monitoring staff attendance, holidays and absence.
- Promoting a culture of health & safety by setting the standard yourself.
- Ensuring the security of vehicles, equipment, and tools.
- Upholding high standards of quality and customer care across all works.
- Maintaining discipline and professionalism within the team.
- Completing daily reports and operational paperwork.
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
- Organised and experienced in leading teams or small crews.
- A confident communicator with natural leadership skills and enthusiasm.
- Ideally holding a horticultural qualification and familiar with Google Workspace and field management systems.
- Experienced in public open space maintenance with a focus on quality and service.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple services and teams.
- A holder of a full, clean driving licence.
