We are recruiting for an experienced Corporate Head of Service - Community Housing to lead housing strategy and operations within a dynamic local authority environment. Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategic and operational delivery of housing options, accommodation services, welfare reform, and resettlement support.
Design and implement solutions in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and related housing legislation.
Build partnerships across public, private, and voluntary sectors to deliver sustainable, person-centred housing outcomes.
Drive innovation, performance, and digital transformation across your teams.
What We're Looking For:
Senior leadership experience in housing, homelessness prevention, or community services.
Strong commercial and strategic thinking with a focus on commissioning, budget management, and value-for-money outcomes.
Ability to lead through complexity, influence across stakeholder groups, and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
A commitment to equity, community wellbeing, and collaborative leadership.
