A welcoming and inclusive SEN school in Kingston is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Post-16 provision, supporting students aged 16+ with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
About the Role:
- Supporting students aged 16-19 with PMLD and complex needs
- Assisting with personal care, communication, sensory activities, and life skills
- Working closely with class teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support
- Promoting independence and inclusion in a calm, nurturing environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting individuals with PMLD, complex needs, or similar
- Comfortable with personal care and manual handling (training can be provided)
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Available to start immediately or in the coming weeks
