We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Social Worker to join a dynamic Learning Disabilities Team in Lewisham. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact by supporting adults with learning disabilities, empowering them to live independently and access the care they need.
Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out Care Act assessments, support planning, and reviews

Undertaking Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest decisions

Working closely with health professionals and other agencies in a multi-disciplinary setting

Managing a diverse caseload, with a focus on person-centred and strength-based approaches

Safeguarding vulnerable adults in line with Section 42 of the Care Act
Requirements:
-
SWE registration
-
Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities

Solid knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and relevant legislation
-
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
