We are currently seeking a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator to join our local client’s team based in Dudley, West Midlands. This long-standing company are looking for a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator to work in their busy and expanding office.

The roles and responsibilities of a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator:
- Producing quotes for customers using Lantek software
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and producing profile drawings using an AutoCAD 2d type software package.
- Speaking to customers via email and phone
- Liaising with other departments internally to resolve any problems.
- A basic understanding of material types such as but not limited to: Mild steel, stainless steel (S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316 etc.)
Requirements of the 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator:
- Previous experience from an Engineering background and/or working with Lantek software would be an advantage
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
