In-House Tax Adviser / Junior Manager - Dudley, West MidlandsSalary: £56,000 to £68,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A dynamic, leading group based in Dudley, West Midlands is seeking a corporate tax professional to join its well-established tax team. Whether you have previous in-house experience or are looking to make your first move from practice into industry, this role offers excellent development opportunities and a varied, high-quality workload.

Role Overview:As part of the tax function, you will play a key role in corporate tax compliance, reporting, and advisory work across the group. You will also have exposure to employment tax matters, with full support and training where needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of corporate tax computations and reporting

  • Supporting group external reporting, business plans, and regulatory filings

  • Assisting the Tax Manager and legal team on a variety of transactions

  • Tax modelling and forecasting tax liabilities, profits, and losses

  • Supporting systems implementation and integration of new tax technology solutions

  • Providing ad hoc tax advice across the business

  • Supporting the business on employment tax technical matters (training provided if necessary)

  • Contributing to tax risk management and governance projects, including Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) compliance

Skills & Experience Required:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent)

  • Minimum of 1 year's post-qualification experience in corporate tax

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax and good understanding of IFRS tax accounting

  • Good knowledge of capital allowances

  • Proficiency with Excel and an interest in tax technology solutions

  • Employment tax experience desirable but not essential - willingness to learn is key

  • The role offers hybrid working with approximately three days in the office (full-time)
