An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join a highly regarded and expanding accountancy practice based in Dudley, West Midlands. This firm is proud of its strong reputation for delivering exceptional service to a loyal and diverse client base and is now looking to grow its Personal Tax team further.

The RoleAs a Personal Tax Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, building strong, positive relationships with both clients and internal colleagues to ensure an outstanding service is consistently delivered.Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, preparing, and filing personal tax returns accurately and within deadlines

  • Calculating tax liabilities and communicating these to clients

  • Completing and submitting P11D forms

  • Managing correspondence with HMRC and other third parties as required

  • Staying up to date with relevant changes in tax legislation

  • Reviewing the work of junior members of the team, providing guidance and support where necessary

The PersonThe successful candidate will have prior experience working within an accountancy practice in a personal tax-focused role. You will be able to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines during peak periods.Ideally, you will be ACA, ATT, or CTA qualified, or working towards a recognised tax or accountancy qualification. Support for further study is available for the right candidate.A high level of accuracy, professionalism, and client service is essential.
