The OpportunityWe are seeking an ambitious and motivated Personal Tax Senior to join our growing team. This role will support the Partners and wider tax team in delivering outstanding client service, managing key deadlines, and providing expert advice on personal tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of self-assessment personal tax returns and tax computations across a diverse portfolio

  • Managing a small portfolio of personal tax clients independently

  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships, becoming a trusted point of contact

  • Advising business owners on effective tax planning strategies to reduce tax liabilities

  • Supporting the promotion of the firm's services to potential clients and the wider business community

What We're Looking For

  • ATT, ACCA/ACA part-qualified/qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE) in a similar tax role within Practice

  • Solid understanding of personal tax, with up-to-date knowledge of Making Tax Digital requirements for Sole Traders and Landlords

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Confidence to engage directly with clients and senior colleagues, and the ability to challenge constructively when needed

  • Solution-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities

  • Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple assignments and meeting all deadlines
