Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels used in advanced automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Mount components such as circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, and terminal blocks.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring and cable routing to a high standard.
  • Conduct basic testing and fault-finding of completed panels.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to resolve build issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area and follow company procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in electrical panel building or electrical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components and control systems.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in panel assembly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience working in an automation or machinery manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
