A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to join my clients team in their Dudley, West Midlands offices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, with a focus on providing exceptional legal advice and representation to clients. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage various legal matters efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings, advocating for their best interests.• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and ensure informed decision-making.• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case progress, ensuring confidentiality at all times.• Collaborate with other legal professionals to develop strategies for complex cases and share best practices.• Keep abreast of changes in legislation and industry trends that may affect clients or the practice.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients' interests.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in all aspects of work.• Proficient in legal research methodologies and familiar with relevant legal databases.• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear articulation of complex legal concepts.• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• A commitment to maintaining professional integrity and confidentiality in all client matters.
