An experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is needed for a leading steel processing company in Dudley.
The salary for this position ranges from £35,000 to £36,000, including a shift allowance.
Candidates should have an NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance and preferably an apprenticeship background.
The role involves preventative and reactive maintenance, working on hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and fabrication.
Experience in slitting or de-coiling is a bonus, and the position offers weekly pay with plenty of overtime.

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading steel processing company in the heart of Dudley.What’s on offer:

£35,000 – £36,000 (incl. shift allowance)
Weekly pay + plenty of overtime
33 days holiday (with fixed shutdowns)
Pension + health care plan (after 3 months)
Weekly shifts: 6–2 / 2–10 (rotating) - early finish Fridays

The role:

Preventative & reactive maintenance
Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, welding & fabrication
Fault-finding & breakdown repairs
Team-based work with Electricians

What you’ll need:

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance (or equivalent)
Apprenticeship / time-served background preferred
Experience in slitting/de-coiling a bonus
