We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector based at our site in Dudley. Hours of work are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

Role Overview

To fully support the SHEQ Manager and Quality Engineer in the control of specific customer supplied product.
Inspection, preparation of parts and documentation prior to despatch

Key responsibilities will be to:

Manage key accounts, ensuring supply requirements are confirmed during production and via pre-dispatch audits.
Carry out inspection of parts, prior to despatch and at various stages of production ensuring they meet the requirements of the Quality Plan and customer requirements
Use of measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, depth gauges etc
Record inspection results.
Preparation and packaging of parts to meet key account requirements.
Conduct tests required to maintain Customer Control Plan
Use of fork lift truck and overhead crane.
Use of other mechanical handling equipment.

Relevant experience required:

Experience in a previous Quality Inspection role and use in following 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Experience of inspection and pre-despatch audits
Attention to detail to identify defects and ensure a quality product
Experienced in the use of general measuring equipment
Experienced in the use of FLT’s and over head cranes.
Strong computer skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
