Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Machine Shop Manager for their facility in Dudley.This Machine Shop Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and lead a dynamic production team, ensure efficient production processes and maintain high-quality standards.

Key duties of the Machine Shop Manager include:

Cultivate a team-first culture that promotes both high morale and exceptional performance.
Developing and implementing a comprehensive training, development, and skills enhancement plan for the team
Oversee daily production operations
Develop and implement production schedules and plan
Monitor production performance and implement improvements

The Machine Shop Manager will have the following skills/experience:

A strong background working with CNC machine - turning milling etc,
Previous experience in a Machine Shop Manager role, with a proven track record in people management and process improvement
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
