We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing company. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in international trade, providing essential support in overseeing shipments and sourcing critical materials.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and optimise supplier relationships
- Negotiate contracts and identify cost saving opportunities
- Contribute to strategic sourcing ny identifying local suppliers and reducing import costs
- Liaise with international customers, maintaining excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Oversee all shipments leaving the warehouse, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Ensure all shipments are charged correctly and accompanied by the correct documents.
- Keep customers updated on the status of their shipments and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Proven experience in export logistics and purchasing
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and documentation.
