Venn Group are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a Local Authority in the Black Country
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Lead a team of surveyors managing a variety of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and building compliance related works/contracts.
- Deliver commercial and project management services from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Oversee cost control, valuations, and contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance, health & safety, and CDM regulations.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet service objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in project/commercial management within a construction or property environment.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of building contracts and relevant legislation.
- A Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Surveying, Construction, or Commercial Management.
