Dunbar Education is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant for a full-time position in a Dudley school. This role involves supporting children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) across EYFS to KS2.

The Role:
  • Support pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, adapting support to suit different ages and abilities
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans based on EHCPs
  • Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Support children with communication, social, emotional, and sensory needs
About You:
  • Experience working with children with SEN (preferably in a school setting)
  • Understanding of EHCPs and how to implement support strategies
  • Patient, caring, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent) - desirable but not essential
