Position Overview

Omni Subsea/ Granite Recruitment are seeking an experienced QHSE Coordinator to join their organisationon a permanent basis. This role is part time and flexibility can be discussed around days/ hours to be worked.

The successfulcandidate will be working in a fast-paced environment focusing on developing and implementing policies, procedures and systems to ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise and maintain the Integrated Management System folders and archive as appropriate.
  • Develop, review and implement policies and procedures that align with thebusiness objectives and operational needs. Work with relevant departments to ensure that all procedures reflect current practice and support continuous improvements.
  • Conduct internal audits and follow up with corrective actions.
  • Ensuring documentation utilised are of the correct revisions and update where applicable.
  • Management of the PIN (Performance Improvement Notice) Log while working closely with the company'sexternal QHSE team to complete actions and close off accordingly.
  • Act as a point of contact for any QHSE queries.
  • Coordinate with the external QHSE team during their scheduled visits supporting updates, audit reviews and implementations of improvements.
  • Assist in training employees on management system procedures and standards.
  • Prepare quarterly QHSE performance reports for management.

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in a QHSE role within the oil and gas industry.
  • Microsoft Office experience (Excel in particular)
  • Interpersonal skills: (e.g. Self-confident, oral & written communication, customer liaison, team player etc)
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues essential.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise own workload when required.
