Finegreen are currently working with an NHS organisation who are looking to appoint an Interim Organisation Design and Transformation Manager.

To undertake this role, you will need significant experience within Organisation Design from a technical perspective in a healthcare environment.

Job Summary:
  • The Organisational Design (OD) and Transformation Manager is responsible for leading the strategic design and transformation initiatives within Integrated Care to enhance organisational effectiveness and improve the delivery of integrated healthcare services.
  • This role focuses on assessing current organisational structures, implementing best practices, facilitating change management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among staff and stakeholders.
  • The manager will ensure that organisational designs are patient-centered, comply with relevant regulations, and align with the overall mission and values of the care centre.
  • Provide OD expertise to ensure an effective framework for continuous improvement which has a positive impact on the organisational culture and the health and care workforce.
  • Leadership of key OD workstreams, commissioning projects, identifying risks, considering best practice and ultimately making decisions in the best interest of the project.
  • Responsible for ensuring the OD plan enables the system to achieve its ambitions and objectives in accordance with its values and in light of the strategic priorities.
  • Play a key role in developing leadership capability to enable a compassionate and inclusive culture, promoting the development of a way of working which challenges the status quo, delivers breakthroughs and makes practical change happen;
Ideal Candidate:
  • As well as demonstrating technical management skills, the post holder will be expected to provide expert OD advice and use their OD expertise to support the delivery of activities and projects to drive continuous improvement and transformation;
  • Politically astute and strategically aware to successfully deliver these programmes of work.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and generate improvement opportunities, using experience to influence teams and work in new ways.
  • It is essential to demonstrate excellent negotiation and influencing skills, based on experience in other healthcare organisations.
