We are currently looking to recruit an Auto electrical Technician for our UK leading fleet conversion specialist client based in Doncaster (DN3)

Working Hours:
This is a 4 day working week Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day (6:30am-5pm)

Salary: Is negotiable depending on experience. Good earning potential available.

This role will cover all duties in the vehicle conversion electrical department. You will have the chance to join a talented team that supports us in being one of the UK's leading vehicle conversion specialists. Our two Doncaster facilities are very close together and you may have the chance of working in both.

We are mainly looking for experienced Auto Electricians but will also consider trainees with the ability to learn and a basic understanding of electrical systems including domestic electrics.

Both require you to be flexible, professional, have a keen eye for detail and to produce a high level of workmanship.

Experienced auto electricians should have a basic understanding of some of the below:

  • Towbars
  • Beacons and any extra lights inside and out on panel vans or chassis.
  • Various electrical systems to include but not limited to:

o Alarms

o Immobilisers

o Tracking

o Parking sensors

o Split charge systems

o Welfare heating, water and power systems

  • Research electrical faults
  • Repair and replace electrical items
  • Tail lifts

Have the basic tooling and be able to use hand and power tools

If you are an experience fitter or are multi-skilled as well you will be rewarded with a higher pay grade.
