Are you an experienced van driver looking for flexible work? JT Recruit is seeking reliable and motivated Van Drivers to join our team on behalf of a reputable client. This is an ad-hoc role with varying hours that could range from 1 to 5 days per week, depending on business needs.
Start Times: Between 3:00 AM and 8:00 AM
Work Involves: Nationwide deliveries, heavy lifting, and site clearance
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering goods across the country (1-3 drops per shift).
- Loading and unloading the van, including heavy lifting.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and road rules.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
- Occasionally working on sites that may include mud and dirt (weather-dependent).
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous commercial driving experience is essential.
- License: A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Language Skills: Good understanding of English.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy items.
- Flexibility: Comfortable with variable working days and start times.
Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday: £12.77 per hour
Saturday: £14.00/hour
Sunday: £15.00/hour
Please note: Due to the nature of the role, candidates will be required to complete an induction day before starting work.
