Senior Electrical Technician

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Technician to be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical and electronic components and systems to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical and electronic subassemblies from diagrams, drawings, or work instructions.
- Wire and solder harnesses, cables, control panels, PCBs, connectors, and related assemblies.
- Carry out heavy-duty cable wiring, control system outfitting, and deck cable assembly.
- Perform fault finding and repairs down to PCB component level.
- Test and troubleshoot assemblies to ensure functionality and quality.
- Complete required documentation (timesheets, engineering change notes, etc.).
- Work safely and maintain high standards of quality and housekeeping.
- Meet project deadlines and production efficiency targets.
- Undertake other duties as required by your manager.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Experience in low voltage AC/DC wiring and looming.
- Understanding of control and data systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Good communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
- ONC or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- IEEE 18th Edition accreditation.
- Experience with high voltage installations or fibre optic handling.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments.
Additional Information
- Some travel may be required on an ad-hoc basis.
