Who we are...We are seeking an experienced Test Technician to join a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation in Glenrothes. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of Test and RF-based projects that support complex programmes within the Aerospace & Defence sector.You will be responsible for diagnosing, testing, and fault finding across a wide range of complex electronic assemblies and test equipment, playing a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities* Diagnose and fault find complex electronic assemblies down to component level* Test, debug, and repair electronic assemblies* Diagnose and resolve test equipment faults* Perform maintenance and calibration of test equipment* Record and maintain accurate test, failure, and yield reports* Support engineering investigations and provide technical input* Drive process improvements within the test area* Contribute to RF-related projects

Skills & Experience Required* Qualified in Electronics (HNC, HND, or Degree)* Strong skills in fault finding, debug, and testing electronic assemblies (analogue & digital)* Hands-on experience with RF as part of wider electronic expertise* Proven ability to troubleshoot at circuit/component level* Experience working with lab test and debug equipment in a manufacturing or engineering environment* Ideally, experience with:o Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS)o Automated Test Equipment (ATE)o Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE)
