About the Role:Â Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer
HBG Recruitment are seeking an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join on of our growing clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation,maintenance, and repair of a wide range of HVAC systems across residential,commercial, industrial, and modular buildings. Key Responsibilities:Â Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer

Install, maintain, and repairair conditioning systems (split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs).

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive service callouts.

Diagnose faults and perform repairs onrefrigeration units, including chillers, cold rooms, ice machines, and display cabinets.

Handle refrigerant recovery, gas charging, and commissioning of new installations.

Perform electrical fault finding, brazing, and compressor/component replacement.

Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards.

Liaise with customers in a professional manner and support junior technicians as required.
What We're Looking For:Â Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / City & Guilds equivalent.

F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).

Proven experience working with commercial and industrial A/C andrefrigeration systems.

Excellent fault diagnosis and repair skills.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Full UK driving licence with a clean record.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with great communication skills.
