We are urgently seeking a Plant Operative for a full-time role at our client's site in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
This position is for an initial period of 3 months with the potential to become permanent, featuring a weekly rotating shift pattern of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.
Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, environmental considerations, and maintaining accurate reporting logs.
Candidates must have experience in the waste industry, operating mobile plant, and holding Loading Shovel & NPROS tickets.
The expected salary for this role is competitive, and prior industrial experience is required.

We are urgently seeking a Plant Operative to work at our clients site in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. This is a full time role for an initial period of 3 months with an opportunity to become permanent.

Shift Pattern: weekly rotation - 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm

Responsibilities

Ensuring the highest standard of Health and Safety is being adhered to via plant walkarounds & CCTV monitoring.
Ensuring highest standards are achieved in relation to Environmental considerations while operating plant
Prompt and efficient reporting of any and all Environmental matters
Maintain comprehensive and accurate daily reporting log
Maintain and monitor SSOW across plant
Be competent in covering the MT supervisor role if required

You will need to have

worked in the waste industry, operated mobile plant, operated Mechanical Treatment Plant.
A Loading Shovel & NPROS tickets
An Industrial background
