Mechanical Fitter needed in Knaresborough Paying £300-£500 a day

Full time hrs on a temporary basis

Key responsibilities include:

  • Rectifying mechanical asset problems (conveyor belts, pumps, gearboxes, valves, cranes)

  • Performing fabrication work and general workshop duties

  • Handling PPM and reactive maintenance, maintaining high standards

  • Participating in planned outages

  • Operating workshop machinery, fabrication, and refurbishment

  • Promptly communicating problems for quick resolution

  • Contributing to Maintenance Team KPIs

  • Using the site CMMS system effectively

  • Participating in team briefings and toolbox talks

  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards

  • Working safely under a safe system of work

  • Reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses
