Role- CNC Turner

Location- Knottingley

Salay- Negotiable depending upon experience

Days- Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner for a subcontract precision Engineering company in Knottingley, specialising in batch work and bespoke projects, small to medium components.

Duties will involve -

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications.
  • Experience working to close tolerance
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate production.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
  • Do initial quality inspection for 1st Off’s
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a precision engineering environment.
  • Confident using hand tools
  • Apprentice trained or engineering qualification is an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to read Engineering drawings is essential
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
