Futures are looking to appoint a H&S Manager for a client of our on the outskirts of Wakefield who have recently acquired a new facility due to continued growth. Our client are market leader within their respective field are looking to take on a H&S Manager who will be very present on the shop floor and have the ability to implement processes and procedures. The ideal candidate must have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for Health & Safety.

Roles and Responsibilities:• Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

• Organise and deliver health and safety training sessions for employees and contractors.

• Maintain and update records, including safety documentation, incident reports, and compliance logs.

• Promote a positive health and safety culture across the organization.

• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and external stakeholders to address health and safety concerns.

• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety reviews to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and follow-up on corrective actions.

* Experience of auditing* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
