Class 1 Trunking Night Driver
Location: Ferrybridge, WRY WF11
Contract: Temporary
Shift times: Monday to Friday, 21:00 starts
Pay Rate: 16.64 per hour
Would you like to work Monday to Friday, with weekends off? You will be driving one of our modern fleet of vehicles and trailers and will typically drop and swap trailers at our other locations across the UK, carrying out on average two drops per night. Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
We are currently recruiting LGV CE Drivers to join our team in Ferrybridge, working on our contract with Etex. You will have the opportunity to work Monday to Friday on average 48 hours per week.
What you'll do on a typical night:
- You will be safely driving our HGV Class 1 Vehicles in a courteous manner
- Delivering trailers of products and follow a route of Ferrybridge, Normanton, Burton, Bradford, Normanton, Ferrybridge.
- Dropping and swapping trailers
- Making sure all goods are correctly strapped before commencing journeys
- Driving the latest equipment and operating to FORS Gold level safety standards
What you need to succeed at XPO:
- Valid LGV C+E Licence
- 12 months experience ideally
- An up-to-date CPC and DIGI card
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence
