Senior Administrator - Partner Practice of St James Place

An Experienced Candidate is required to work for our Clients, a respected and growing firm of Financial Advisers who form part of one of the largest firms of Wealth Managers in the UK. Our Client offers first class training and support and ongoing career development and now require someone to work in an incredibly busy role supporting the Financial Planners. It is essential that those applying for the role can demonstrate capability of working in a changing and fast paced environment, whilst managing and liaising a client bank of High Net Worth Individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high level technical administrative support to the Partner/Practice Manager/Advisors
- Liaise daily with paraplanners to ensure the delivery of all business process needs
- Booking client / presentation meetings and the associated diary management, in line with the servicing needs of the business
- Ensure Salesforce records are kept up to date in terms of relationships / delegation of servicing / meeting dates and advice cycles
- Support and respond to incoming calls from clients and third parties, ensuring they are dealt with by the appropriate colleague
- Prepare all client meeting packs, including compliance required / supporting documentation / EIS & VCT valuations etc
- Ensure that all required client identification documentation / necessary application forms and trust documentation, including EOW & LPT’s are provided for the advisor or client where needed
- Process applications accurately, including EBS submissions and advice sets, recording the required compliance information on Salesforce
- Ensure all documentation for business submissions are checked and appropriately submitted to SJP / Clients and third parties
- Liaise with solicitors, executors, and family members in bereavement cases, ensuring that all plans associated with the client are transferred or encashed in a timely and sensitive manner
- Responsibility for ensuring the practice operations is recorded and monitored daily through the WIP and distributed to the team effectively
- Processing client withdrawals and encashments in line with the compliance guidelines from SJP and document accordingly
- Action Fund switches and rebalancing exercises following client
- meetings
- Attend and contribute to meetings when called upon
- Complete regular training and upskilling, including technical competence at an appropriate level to meet the requirements of the role and the needs of the business
Essentials:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a financial services role either with SJP or IFA
- Knowledge of relevant compliance regulations in accordance with consumer duty;
- Experience of client management systems such as Salesforce;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software and IT systems generally;
- A strong understanding of relevant product knowledge; Skills and behaviours:

Candidates coming from a Financial Services background and those offering knowledge of Pensions & Investments would be of benefit, but this is not essential however a professional services background is. As mentioned above, the ability to work in a fast paced and pressurised team environment is imperative.
