I am pleased to be working with a market-leading, Knutsford-based client who are looking to add to their well-established team. They are looking for an attentive and proactive Sales Coordinator to join their operation on a full-time, permanent basis.

Role Purpose:

As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the commercial department by managing sales administration, client relations, and business development. This role offers a dynamic sales process involving negotiation, quotation management, and relationship building. You will receive extensive training to understand company systems and gain hands-on experience, setting you up for progression opportunities within the business.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £26,000-£28,000 + Quarterly Commission.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Sales Administration: Preparing contracts, planning deliveries, managing stock, and handling complaints.
  • Quoting Clients: Analysing market conditions, commodity prices, and exchange rates to create competitive quotations.
  • Business Development: Prospecting new clients, following up on leads, and driving sales growth.
  • Client Relations: Managing customer portfolios, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
  • Collaboration: Liaising with suppliers, logistics, shipping, and accounts teams to streamline operations.

Specification:

  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong organisational skills.
  • Confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP experience is advantageous but not required.
  • Previous experience in sales and administration.
