We are working exclusively with a long-established and highly respected engineering company based in Lanrkshire, who are seeking a Sales Support Executive to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a business that has been innovating in its sector for over 85 years and continues to go from strength to strength.
The company designs, manufactures, and supports bespoke materials handling solutions for a wide range of sectors, including food & drink and fork truck distribution.


In this role, you'll work closely with the Sales Director to manage customer enquiries, provide accurate and timely information, and maintain excellent levels of customer service. You'll also support the wider operations team with order processing, stock management, and the coordination of marketing content.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Preparing quotations and following up on outstanding quotes to convert to orders

  • Processing customer orders and liaising with internal departments to meet delivery targets

  • Monitoring stock levels and placing purchase orders to maintain supply

  • Managing orders with overseas suppliers

  • Producing monthly and annual sales reports

  • Assisting in diary management for the Sales Director

  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Supporting lead generation and new product launches

  • Providing regular updates to clients regarding their order status

  • Creating and sharing marketing content for social media

  • Capturing photos and videos of equipment for promotional use


What We're Looking For:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude

  • Experience in an administrative or sales support role

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Confidentiality and commercial awareness

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with Sage 50 Accounts is desirable but not essential
