Hygiene Supervisor

Scantec Recruitment are working with a fantastic Food Manufacturing business in South Lanarkshire to recruit a Hygiene Supervisor for their site. Working continental shifts on Days, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and add value with one of the UK’s largest food businesses. Along with great opportunities for growth and development. 

Hours / Shifts:
07:00-19:00, 4on 4off

Hygiene Supervisor - Summary of key responsibilities:

  • Ensure all hygiene and operational support tasks are properly planned and executed safely.
  • Organising and briefing staff on job allocations, risk assessments, and the correct use of PPE to ensure both scheduled and unscheduled hygiene and operational support tasks are completed effectively.
  • Play an active role in internal audits and support external audits, including BRC. In addition, you’ll assist the Site Services and Facilities Manager in managing site facilities and contractors.
  • Contribute to the review and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Deliver results against an agreed set of KPIs, monitored hourly and across shifts. These KPIs align with the overarching manufacturing strategy

Required skills & experience:

We're seeking a strong team player with excellent communication skills. Somebody with at least 2 years hygiene experience in food production. A good understanding of chemicals, ideally the successful candidate would be COSHH trained, but training can be arranged for the right candidate.
