Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients and managing the day-to-day activities of our vibrant practice team. �?

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client meetings both virtually and face-to-face. ??
  • Provide complex tax advice and oversee the preparation and completion of annual accounts. ??
  • Review and approve work completed by team members. ??
  • Address complex client issues, including complaints, and prepare for and manage HMRC audits or investigations. ??????
  • Monitor and analyze data related to KPIs. ??
  • Attend management meetings as needed and collaborate effectively to achieve the company's goals. ??
  • Act as a company ambassador, promoting high standards and supporting company objectives. �?
  • Engage in continuous personal development to enhance skills and knowledge. ??
  • Mentor and develop other staff within the business to help future-proof the company. ???�?

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent. �?
  • Experience with cloud accounting software including FreeAgent, QuickBooks, and Xero. ??
  • Advanced knowledge of income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and PAYE. ??
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a client-focused attitude. ??
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel. ??
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to lead and report effectively. ???
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills. ?
  • Previous experience managing a team is essential. ??
