Talent STEM are partnering with an innovative manufacturing company at their modern facility in Lancashire to appoint a Graduate Chemist. In this role, you’ll be involved in a variety of projects focused on developing and improving high-performance products used by customers worldwide. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory experience, work alongside experienced scientists, and contribute to real product development from day one.

 

About the role
As a Graduate Chemist, you’ll be part of a collaborative technical team supporting the design, testing and improvement of chemical products. You’ll be involved in practical lab work, data analysis, and project support while learning from experienced scientists and engineers who will help you develop your technical and professional skills.

 

Your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting the research, development and testing of new products

- Conducting lab-based experiments and recording results accurately

- Assisting with research into materials and product performance

- Working with colleagues across technical and production teams

- Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation projects

 

About you

- Degree in a Chemistry related subject

- Enthusiastic about developing a career in research & development

- Strong practical skills and attention to detail

- Good communication and teamwork skills
