What you'll do
·Lead and coordinate capital programmes for schools and corporate buildings, focusing on condition, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
·Oversee condition surveys and compliance audits to prioritise essential works.
·Guide a team of technical professionals, ensuring high standards of delivery.
·Provide specialist advice on construction methods and sustainability.
·Collaborate with stakeholders and prepare strategic reports for senior decision makers.
 
What we're looking for
·Significant experience in capital programme/project management within the public sector.
·Strong knowledge of property asset management, building condition and compliance.
·Professional qualification (e.g. MRICS or equivalent).
·Ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and manage complex projects.

The details
·Location: County Hall, Preston, PR1 8RE
·Contract: 5 months (initial), full-time (37 hours p/w), inside IR35
·Rate: £450 p/d- negotiable- inside ir35 umbrella
