We are excited to welcome an enthusiastic and diligent Accounts Semi Senior to our team. Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients and contributing to our continued success.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, readying them for finalisation by management. ??
  • Manage the preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns, Corporation Tax returns, and VAT returns. ??
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and provide foundational tax advice. ??
  • Utilize daily accounting software to maintain precise financial records. ??
  • Handle correspondence with HMRC regarding queries and issues efficiently. ??
  • Deliver stellar customer service by addressing telephone and email queries, and resolving complaints. ??
  • Serve as a company ambassador, upholding the highest standards of behaviour and actively supporting company objectives. �?
  • Engage in personal professional development to continuously enhance skills and knowledge. ??
  • Mentor and develop other staff within the business, leveraging your knowledge and skills. ???�?

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Actively studying towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualifications. �?
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, diligence, and excellent communication skills. �?
  • Exhibits strong time management abilities, ensuring all tasks are completed daily and deadlines are met. ?
  • Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel. ???
  • Solid understanding of company and personal taxation and VAT preparation. ??

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • Fully qualified in AAT, ACA, or ACCA. ?
  • Experience in preparing annual accounts. ??
  • Familiarity with various accounting software. ??
