SRG are currently seeking a Site Engineering Manager to join a well-established client with continued company success and significant growth based in the North West.

As the Site Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing the engineering and maintenance teams while ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, regulations, health and safety and laws.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering and maintenance teams across the site, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety
  • Ensure ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO50001 standards are met
  • Champion health and safety across all levels of engineering and site operations
  • Support the development of multi-million CAPEX budgets and project plans
  • Drive continuous improvement and asset reliability strategies across all engineering activities
  • Support Performance Development by coaching and developing employees.

People Management:

  • Direct reports: circa 15 employees
  • Develop good working relationships within the engineering and maintenance teams
  • Work alongside other members of the leadership team to ensure excellent communication and teamwork across the site.

Criteria:

  • Degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g Chemical / Mechanical Engineering)
  • Chartered Engineer
  • Experience working in the COMAH chemical industry
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Strong knowledge of, and commitment to, health and safety on COMAH sites
  • Excellent communication skills.
