Eventus Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join our established Legal, Finance and Financial Services Recruitment Consultancy in our Lancaster head office. Although primarily office based, hybrid working is available and the post is offered on a part-time basis, with hours/ days to be negotiated. We are offering a generous salary (depending on experience), along with a holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays (pro rata), plus Christmas Closure and your Birthday as an additional, flexible working hours, regular fully paid for social functions, statutory pension and a genuinely positive and supportive workplace.

Role responsibilities

As Marketing Executive, you will take a professional, proactive and measurable approach to marketing and communications, ultimately delivering an outstanding service to the business. You will be an excellent communicator, with strong project and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time and to an exceptionally high standard.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Leadership over our social media platforms, including Linkedin, Instagram and others, as well as updating Google My Business. You will be given training on Paiger, a specialist recruitment social media scheduler that we use.
  • Responsibility for creating engaging content / graphics and increasing interaction across all social media channels.
  • Updating the Eventus Recruitment’s LinkedIn Newsletter with new content.
  • Encouraging internal engagement with any marketing-related / social media activity, as well as assisting the consultants to improve their personal and professional branding across LinkedIn.
  • Promoting our annual Employment Insights and Work Trends Survey Report.
  • Drafting one blog a month and posting on our Wordpress website.
  • Updating content and imagery on our website and maintaining the Eventus Recruitment website, including our ranking on Google. Liaising with our website host when necessary.
  • Utilising our client and candidate database (Firefish) by developing, writing and delivering email marketing campaigns quarterly and when requested by the Consultants.
  • Assisting with job board advertising, including writing and creating graphics when requested. Also, you will be responsible for the optimisation (SEO) of all new job adverts to maximise visibility on Google Jobs. (Training will be given)
  • Monthly, assisting with the reporting and analysis of all marketing channels, including the website, campaigns, social media channels and job boards.
  • Promoting our charity of the year and assisting with the promotion of any fundraising activities.
  • Assisting with ongoing marketing campaigns when required and promoting the Eventus Recruitment Group’s brand and team.

Person specification

To be considered for this Marketing Executive role, you will have a minimum of 2 year’s marketing and communications experience working within a professional or business services environment, and you will hold a recognised degree or qualification, ideally with a marketing or business focus. Additional skills and attributes required for this role include:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Skill and interest in social media, particularly relating to creating content and engagement
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven time management, project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and activities
  • Confidence in reporting on the performance of marketing activities
  • Key team player with experience of working in a generalist marketing role
  • Ability to work independently with little direction
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva and Wordpress (Desirable).
  • Enthusiasm, drive and energy
