Axon Moore are excited to be supporting a well-established business in Lancaster to recruit a new Payroll Administrator. This role is paying a competitive salary of up to £32,000 with a flexible hybrid working arrangement on offer.Responsibilities include:
  • Manage all aspects of one weekly and two monthly payrolls on Sage Payroll software.
  • Enter hours and expenses maintaining payroll pay scales such that all payments are completed accurately and on-time.
  • Complete relevant HMRC paperwork returns and ensure submitted within deadlines.
  • Maintain nominal coding in automated interfaces from Sage Payroll into Sage 200.
  • Participate in any projects to develop the payroll processes and database, taking a lead on identifying improvements and playing a key role in implementing any resultant changes.
  • To keep abreast with the developments in Payroll rules and regulations and to contribute to their implementation.
  • Ensure smooth closing of all weekly payroll ledgers.
  • Monthly reconciliation of all payroll control accounts in line with Management Accounts Reporting Timetable.
  • Ensure all deductions from wages are paid across to relevant bodies on time.
