About the Role
An established building and interior fit-out firm is seeking an experienced and capable Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-specification projects across a range of sectors. These include rail, office, industrial, leisure, and more. While the company is primarily based in the North West, it operates on a nationwide scale, delivering prestigious projects for blue-chip clients across the UK.
This is a key role requiring a confident and detail-oriented professional who can manage complex project programmes, coordinate diverse teams, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and client service.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of interior fit-out projects
Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
Monitor and control budgets to ensure projects remain within financial targets
Coordinate internal departments and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent, professional communication
Enforce compliance with health & safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
Oversee project scope changes, variations, and change orders effectively
Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain accurate and comprehensive project records and documentation
Candidate Profile
Demonstrated experience managing high-end construction and fit-out projects across various sectors
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Commercially aware with solid experience in budgeting and financial control
Strong understanding of construction processes, fit-out methodologies, and statutory requirements
Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Procore, or similar)
Exceptionally organized and detail-driven, with a strong focus on delivery and quality
Proactive and resourceful in problem-solving and decision-making
