About the Role

An established building and interior fit-out firm is seeking an experienced and capable Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-specification projects across a range of sectors. These include rail, office, industrial, leisure, and more. While the company is primarily based in the North West, it operates on a nationwide scale, delivering prestigious projects for blue-chip clients across the UK.

This is a key role requiring a confident and detail-oriented professional who can manage complex project programmes, coordinate diverse teams, and uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and client service.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of interior fit-out projects

  • Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation

  • Monitor and control budgets to ensure projects remain within financial targets

  • Coordinate internal departments and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent, professional communication

  • Enforce compliance with health & safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards

  • Oversee project scope changes, variations, and change orders effectively

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project records and documentation



Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience managing high-end construction and fit-out projects across various sectors

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Commercially aware with solid experience in budgeting and financial control

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, fit-out methodologies, and statutory requirements

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Procore, or similar)

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-driven, with a strong focus on delivery and quality

  • Proactive and resourceful in problem-solving and decision-making
