What is the role?

The purpose of the role is to provide a variety of high-quality remedial and maintenance works for customers in their new homes, providing maintaining high standards of customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage and prioritise workloads in order to complete high-quality remedial works in a timely manner and in accordance with set SLA's.
  • Provide quality remedial works, ensuring compliance under the Persimmon Pledge and Customer Care Policies and Procedures.
  • Minimise costs associated with remedial works and adhere to the sign-off and cost recording policies, identify all contra-charging opportunities.
  • Complete all required online reporting via the Operative App, facilitating accurate record keeping of defect resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Liaise with and monitor subcontractors where appropriate, to complete inspections of reported defects, providing full details of agreed works to both the customer and the Customer Care Co-ordinators.
  • Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group's HS&E Policy and ensure compliance throughout team
What experience do I need?
  • Ability to be competent in all aspects of homeowner maintenance, including maintenance of machines and tools
  • Painting and Joinery experience is required
  • PASMA certificate is advantageous
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office
  • Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  • First Aid qualification would be advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required
